| Just lost all illumination in dash, OBC buttons,radio buttons (except the ones with LED) ashtray bulb and heater controls lights. From what i have read on this forum,the problem could be the dimmer switch. What i dont understand is that there is still some dimming on the radio display and OBC display. Is there a separate resistance in the switch for these displays. Also,is that switch easy to replace,i dont have my Bentley with me right now. |

my guess would be either a fuse is gone or all the lights are out.

I checked a few of the lights and they are ok.....the ones in the heater control were changed last year. |

Finally,after much searching...ang changing the switch, with no succes,had to go to my friendly mechanic. You would never guess where the problem was!! Some wires running under the rug (under driver seat) where all rusted.......why would Bm run wires there to illuminate the dashbord and heater control...?? your guess is as good as mine. Anyway, the problem is fixed,just sorry($$$),i couldnt find it myself. |
