I'm getting a little more serious about autocrossing my '84 E30 and would like the forum's advice on front control arm bushings.
I've found the solid M3 style bushings, that have an offset for more caster, like so:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=79 70477688&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

I've also found solid urethane bushings with no additional offset, like these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=79 70477688&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Will the urethane bushings be stiffer than the solid M3 bushings?
Will the additional caster offered by the M3 bushings negate that effect?

Which would you buy?

Yes the Urethane is stiffer then the solid rubber. But you really want the extra castor from the M3 bushings, and I think they are stiff enough.

I agree with Dale - I have the M3 bushings on my e30 track car as well.
