Does anyone in the Seattle area have an EPROM programmer I could use for a day?

I'm having a custom chip made for the race car and want to do some experimenting(shh, don't tell anyone)

Dale

Dale, I think when you get the Eprom programmer you will see that most of those chips sold on ebay are exact copies of the JC chip. So easy to copy a chip by anyone with a programmer, but not so easy to reconfigure the .bin file unless you really understand how to and know where in the code to look. These guys selling those chips don't know anything about what that chip does, they simply buy one and copy many and pump them out on places like ebay. So they sell a $4.00 chip for $60.00 or more. But on the up side they are an exact copy of the original chip. I copied my brothers for my own car but don't sell them. Anyhow I'm digressing .

As I said I have the programmer but unfortunately live too far from you but if you need any help with the project I've done many chips (for satellite TV) and can answer any questions you may have on getting around write protected chips or whatever.

Hope this helps, Terry
