Hello Forum, Ive encountered a strange automatic transmission problem on my '86 535i. If the car is restarted after warming
up, the "Check Engine" warning light comes on, the transmission feels weak, and wont shift down into third gear. If the car is started from being cold, it operates normally. Any suggestions ? The warning light does not seem to blink out a fault code.
