A rock hit my windshield the other day and I know have to replace it.

Does anyone know if there is any negative with going to an aftermarket windsheild? BMW wants an extra 100 for their windshield and they still have an outside window repair company come in and do the work.

Makes no difference, you will probably end up with the same guys fitting it at the end of the day, I had a screen fitted to mine and theres no problem at all, I would stick to a well known company though, you also get a choice of tints and sunscreens at the top of the screen, all the best

Save you a few notes as well
