2008 x3 3.0
Truck required jump start due to dead battery
cables were attached properly utilizing under hood contacts. Nothing remarkable occurred and truck started immediately. Radio had been turned off previous. Did not notice if clock operation was affected, however the radio screen is now blank and system is dead. Checked all fuses behind glove box f7 etc and all are fine (tested with circuit tester) Could power interruption have caused radio malfunction or did radio malfunction cause battery to fail?
Alternator is producing 14.4 v. Battery voltage is 12.16 being charged now.
My old e36 required a battery reset code I can not find anything on this model
Can anyone help?
