just wondering (since i removed both a/c + ps) if its alright to remove the double pulley on the crank without affecting the balance ?
its just the rusty one with the 6 bolts on it...
can i just add washers, to make up the difference in bolt length (if that even matters.
i feel this is just extra rotational weight, and unless its part of the balanced front flywheel.

If you DO want to take it off, make sure you MARK IT CAREFULLY in a place where the marks won't get removed, just in case you're wrong, and it IS balanced, and you need to reattach it...

yeah, - i thought that big square at 3-4 o-clock was a little balance weight.
but.
turns out, many people remove it.
the only one that you shouldn't touch is the harmonic dampner (big one with teeth). That's the one that's doing the job.
