In early March 1993, I bought my old '84 318i. That'll be my 20 year E30 Anniversary.

I know Enis/85-325e has had his since new, or 28 years.

Who else has had an E30 for a long time?

I have to admit, I'm kind of fickle, I had that first one for 2 years, then bought an E30 325i, sold, bought, sold, bought. But I think I've had an E30 continuously for the last 20 years, and multiple of them the last 6 or 7 years.
Right now, 1,2,3 drivable E30s and 1 parts car, 1 project car.

Our 86 e30 was purchased by me still like new in 88 and although it was t-boned a few years ago it lives on in two other cars... so ina way almost 25 years now.

91 325i 4door my daughter drives has:
transmission& driveshaft, steering rack, full exhaust(needs a muffler though), wheels (with new tires), sunroof, and many many 4 door interior bits.

84 318i 2door project car my son has:
original 6 cyl engine with new chip and exhaust, full front and rear subframe/suspension/brakes but with new H&R springs and Billy sports, the entire 86 wire harness, all of the 86 ABS(84 did not have it), hood, trunk, windshield, front and rear lighting, grillwork, some of the PB interior stuff like carpet, almost every nut and bolt needed everywhere, etc, etc. This car is not done yet but can be driven and it's a blast to drive with the 3.64(318i) diff, 5speed conversion and 3 turn e36 rack. It also has racing dynamics 16x7 wheels with 205/55 Kumho 4x tires. Basically the 84 was a rust free 2 door donor shell and that's about it. Too much time, money, blood, sweat, father/son arguements etc invested in this project for it to every be worth it. Priceless...

Purchased my first 325is in 2002. Blew the headgasket in 2004. Was my first part out. The seats live in a 325e which I'm trying to get back.

I bought my 1987 325iC back in 2000 and I still have it. It is the best car that I have ever owned. Last year I bought my sisters 1996 328 iC, so I am now the proud owner of two BMW convertibles, both white with black tops, both 5 speeds, both pretty much bone stock and neither of which has ever been beaten on.

In 10 years or so I will buy my sisters new car...a 2007 330(?) hardtop / convertible, also in white. Sadly, though, it is an automatic. It's OK. At that point I will be approaching 60 and maybe I had better have at least one automatic in the stable.

Life is pretty good.
