I'm not quite sure where the oxygen sensor is located in a 1985 325e. I have read that in some e30's, it is under the hood in the engine block, or in the exhaust. I printed stuff from Pelican, but not sure if it applies to my vehicle.
Can someone shed some light on this?
Thanks.

from the BMW parts listing, it appears to be located on the exhaust.

The one in an 88 325i is located before the catalytic converter, and easily accessible from the engine bay. Your's appears to be located slightly further back than that.

It's screwed into the far end of the cat, just before it connects to the resonator...

Does anyone know the size of the brass screw ( bolt ) coming out exactly behind the temperature gauge . I need to get one from the local hardware store. Also if you have a spare one laying around please help.

Thanks.
