I just changed the rear w no problem & would like to change the fronts myself to but from previous experience the fronts are always harder...I've search the site looking for a DIY on how to do it but couldn't find anything ..can anyone help??

You basically have to dismount the strut assembly from the car.

If you are doing repairs like this, you should buy the E34 Bentley Service Manual.

Hey Ed thnx for the reply! I downloaded the service manual online from another site & from what I heard it's not as easy as the rears so I guess I'll let my mechanic do it..

I wouldn´t touch it!
My own I got changed by my mechanic I dont know urs but mine is M-Tech is no fun at all,, good decisions making ur mechanic do it. Also if u got the M-Tech
