I have a 94 325is. The fog lights are not working. I put new lights in and checked fuses 15 and 22 which are the fog light fuses for this car. Those are okay (I still changed them just to make sure). I pulled one of the lights out and checked the power with a 12 volt tester and there is no power at the plug. What is next? Is the switch bad or am I overlooking an easy problem? Relay? Another fuse somewhere that I am overlooking?

The switch feels okay. The headlights work. Car has never been wrecked. The lights worked fine prior to my son hitting a raccon on the road one day and busted one to the fog lights. Since then the lights have not worked.

I'd check 2 things, look at the wire going to the fog lamps, if they took a hit hard enough to wreck the lamp, the wire could have been damaged as well.
Also check your fog lamp relays in the fuse box, that is the other part of the circuit.

Good luck, let us know what you find.

The wires are in good shape. Which relay should I be looking for? Is it in the fusebox under the hood or somewhere under the dash? I have a manual, but of course I cannot find it...wife must have hide it Smile

I cannot find my Bentley Manual. Can anyone tell me where the fog light relay is? Or better yet where my Bentley Manual is Smile

Figured it out. I had ordered some fog lights from a supplier on eBay. The dang things did not have bulbs in them. I pitched the box and cannot remember the supplier. Anyway, they are working again.

And......found my Bentley Manual.
