Hi
I think that it would be kinda cool to make a feature of the hidden rear head protection rollover bars in my 328i Convertible.
What I mean is permanently release them and polish them up to look real pretty.
Any ideas/thoughts?

I don't have that feature on my car, but if they were popped up, would the top have enough clearance to go up?

I've never seen them up, and hope mine never need to go up.

And no, there is not enough clearance. If they activate with the roof up, say goodbye to your rear window.... if you walk out alive.

in my e30, the windshield frame alone is a rollover bar.

i would love a full cage, but for the passengers..its just out of the question.
try it..
maybe pull some out of a wrecked e36 and bend them, or fabricate your own..

love the cabrio.s..
