Hello,

When driving my 2004 325i, I get an intermittent chirping noise, a little like the sound a cricket would make, sometimes right when I start the car and other times after driving for half an hour or more. It repeats a couple of times and then goes away for a while again. Any help in what I could do myself or what I can tell a mechanic will be very appreciated.

prolly a belt slipping

lube the belts first and see if that helps.
