Good Morning Seattle folks,
My daughter just moved to Bellevue/Redmond. Any reliable garages for her VW Jetta?
I was amazed at all the nice older BMWs in the Seattle area when I was out there two weeks ago.

there is one very trustworthy guy i know.

he actually turned down a job that i asked for saying it wasn't necessary (never heard that before), and is family run.

place is continental, and for being close to the bellevue bmw dealer is a good rate.

btw, what is wrong w/her jetta....

Thanks. The VW is running as well as it can run, but since I am 1,300 miles away and the local stealer will charge $$ for minor things I want her to develop a relationship with her mechanic. Those kids love the VWs, but I don't like the way they throw codes out every other time you fill up with a different gas. VW Jetta had the top end rebuilt last spring as she was bringing it home for preventative maint. and the timing belt broke

So, since I was not smart enough to find her a good e30, she has the Jetta. I'l appreciate the name of the mechanic so she can make an appointment and have acouple small itmes checked out.

I hope to make the picnic next June since I will be in Seattle for a meeting the first week of June.
Thanks,
Rob

In the Bellvue/Redmond area, for BMW or VW work, go to
WestWerks, good guys.
