Hello all,
I just managed to pry the bearing inner race off the rear wheel hub.
Unfortunately, I cut through the race and gouged out the hub. The cut
is about 1.3 millimeters wide, half an inch long, and deep enough to
bury the thickness of a small paperclip.
PICS are in photobucket.. here:

any advice is greatly appreciated. I am tempted to throw it back in
but gut feeling says CHECK first.

Thanks.

It'll probably be OK.

However, you're supposed to pull these off with a puller, not a prybar!

How do you expect to put the new one on, with a sledge hammer?

Thanks for the advice.. actually i pulled it out like most people pull it out. using a slide hammer.. that didnt have any bearing on cutting through the inner race... although a prybar probably would have been much better at removing the inner race at this point.. yeah i think ill use a brick and a piece of 2x4 to mash the bearing back in place. and if that doesnt work.. ill try the bearing install kit i borrowed from a friend..
