The team at PHPBB, have made a major release recently of the PHPBB software.
I've got an instance of PHPBBv3.0.9 up and running on the site, take a look and give me some feedback or comments on this thread.

I'd like to address any issues before shutting down this older version of the software.

The new version supports a lot of new features, one I'm sure everyone here will like is attachments! Upload a file and attach it to your post, nice way to make photo sharing simpler.

You'll need to login again with this new board.
Any postings you make on that board will be deleted in the next week or so when I do the official migration from PHPBBv2 to PHPBBv3.

Is there any way to just view threads you're subscribed to?

I don't see a way to only view threads/posts you've subscribed to.

Other than the issue of not being able to view threads you're subscribed to this is a great improvement to this BB.

Regarding viewing subscribed threads, you'll still have the feature when creating a post
"notify me when a reply is posted"

I'm planning on doing this update this coming weekend so don't be surprised if the board is down for a few hours on Sat or Sun.

Although sometimes I wish that this UBB also had the ability to create "proiles' for our cars, much like the social network tools of our time, myspace, facebook, etc.... BUT, I can just IMAGINE the backend maintenance on that...

For the question, why didn't it get installed. Simple answer is time.
I ran out of time and had trouble getting some of the mods setup and configured correctly.
I think I've got them updated and figured out now, so take another look, I've updated it to phpBB3.0.4. Soon to update to 3.0.8, the latest, but should look the exact same to the users.
