Hi fellas, back again with a new ride. The ol' 1990 318i wagon is gone and a newer 1992 520i is in! Its still a pain living in Italy but I'm getting by. Got a quick question for ya.....this 520i doesn't seem to have a cooling bleed screw on the T-stat housing like the 318 did. To bleed the system, where is the bleed screw? Is it the larger plastic phillips head screw on top of the coolant tank? Thanks for the help. Also, does anyone know what parts are interchangable between the European 520i and the US 525i? Thanks again, hope to hear from you all soon,
Take care,
Jayson

hey Jayson
yea, that phillip plastic plug on top of the plastic tank is your bleeder.
take that plug out, then open up the expansion tank and add coolant into the expansion tank, until the bubbles stop coming out of the bleeder valve.
close it up, and start the car, getting up to operating temperature.
let the car cool down, and repeat.
you should be all set after that.
let us know if you have any more questions !!
good luck, joe _________________ joe
