I had a question regarding AC evaporators for 2001 BMW 325i sedan. I had loss of cold air so one of the local shops recharged it with some dye. A month later, the air is hot again. The original store quoted me around $2400 for evaporator replacement job. ANother, similar store looked at it and showed me with some reader that there was a high reading from suction line and through the front AC vents. My question is does this sound legit? They have stated that I need evaporator with expansion valve, suction line and drier. Total cost with labor is $1950 Crying or Very sad with 12 month warranty on parts and labor and original BMW parts. Is this reasonable? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Kirti
