Does anyone know why this would happen, I set the time /date on my clock and it keeps the correct time but when I turn the car off it resets back to 12:00 and doesnt move from that time. Ups up with that?
Also the clock is not very bright. I dont remember my other BMW being that way _________________ 1986 325i Manual Shift - 2 Door |

I'd check your battery to see how charged it is. When power drops, the clock resets. _________________ Cosmo - 1985 BMW 325e, Single Owner, 265,000+ ORIGINAL miles and still going strong! But now on the East Coast and the salt air corrosion is eating my beautiful car alive...

For the dimness problem you'll probably need to replace the bulb.
Remove the glove box tray and the side plastic panel on the side (nearest OBC).
As far as the resetting problem, you may want to check your fuses. Or your alternator and alternator belt. Also, you may have a problem with the OBC itself. get a used replacement off ebay, and see if that solves it. _________________ Lachssilber Metallic 203 1988 325i sedan with 200,xxx miles
