Does anyone know why this would happen, I set the time /date on my clock and it keeps the correct time but when I turn the car off it resets back to 12:00 and doesnt move from that time. Ups up with that?

Also the clock is not very bright. I dont remember my other BMW being that way

I'd check your battery to see how charged it is. When power drops, the clock resets.

For the dimness problem you'll probably need to replace the bulb.

Remove the glove box tray and the side plastic panel on the side (nearest OBC).

As far as the resetting problem, you may want to check your fuses. Or your alternator and alternator belt. Also, you may have a problem with the OBC itself. get a used replacement off ebay, and see if that solves it.
