In early 2003 we redid the siding on the 2nd story and repainted the house and added a front porch. Also added 2 small windows in front, 1 window in the back of the house, and replaced all the windows on the 1st floor with windows that open!
Big difference in appearance from the street.

In December 2002 - April 2003, we built my 24'x33' garage in the back yard.

We also did some updates in the living room with new faux finish, courtesy of Rays Faux Finishing from the north Chicago area flown in especially for this project (Mary Jo's brother)

Also MJ painted the kitchen, and we had bead-board trim installed all the way round for a huge improvement in appearence:
