The trim work came out very nice, take a look at the pictures:

At the bottom of the original stairs, the floor sloped down 6 inches in 4 feet, so I added a landing at the bottom to level that out.

On the left, you'll notice the trim around the glass block window. On the walls, 1/2" foam insulation to keep the basement warmer.
On the right, we'll be adding cabinets there for chocolate biz storage.

This door goes to the furnace room. Since we added the rooms in the basement, the furnace no longer had enough "combustable air", so we sealed off the back of the louvers, and cut a 6" hole open to the outside so the furnace could suck air in from there to burn to heat the air draw in via the cold air ducts.

Notice the door to the water heater room, we're doing the same stuff to this room:

MJ will use this cubby hole to store ribbons and wrapping paper

We'll probably put a fridge in this spot:

Got the openings in the hallway turned into the storage cabinets, they have lights and everything. The hinges are nice euro built-in-stop hinges:

The shelf/window ledge turned out nicely, the cats will love it!

The vanity is in and trimmed off, the access panel turned out well:

French doors between the bedrooms are shaping up:

[more details coming soon...]
