Sorting out a 86 325ES(extra slow) but for now that's what I got to play with. Looking to swap out eng for a I or IS someday. For now thinking going w/ a lighter flywheel but having problems locating one. Only one found was from Tunner Motorsport. Planning on auto-xing and open track time, no competition racing at this time.

something wrong with the flywheels from Turner? (sounds like you found one to me?) I think Bimmerworld and Bavauto carry them as well.

decided to go w/ less pricy of a solution, having machine shop lighten stock fly down to about 13-14lbs along with resurfacing. I don't think the cost vs benifit is worth it. On a side note, anyone swap out the traney output flange w/ vibration dampener on it with one with out the dampener, is so which one? Need more clearance for the shift rod on a UUC short shifter.
