Car is up on jack stands, ready to tear it apart:

First a new fender:

Then we'll bang on the hood and door and bondo them up and with some luck, paint by Wednesday.

Shame on that lazy picture taker for not helping you out.

On the other hand - maybe it's best that she didn't. She'd probably have taken a big wrench to your car and broken it.

She also pulled the bumper and the fender while I worked on the brake and clutch pedals.

Today the hood was sanded and bondo'ed, the fender was installed properly, the other fender had some bondo added.

I went to town on a new door, we decided to modify one instead of fixing the old one, it just had too much damage.

I chopped a big chunk of the inner lining out after stripping out the power door lock, and complete window mechanism. This piece has to be removed as I have "NASCAR bars" on my roll cage for extra driver protection.

Tomorrow is more bondo and primer, then in the evening sanding out the primer and with a little luck and some good weather, it will get painted on Wednesday and I'll have it back on Thursday, to race this weekend.

This is the big mod to the door, cut 1/2 the inner skin off!

These are the _bent_ brake/clutch pedals next to the "new" ones from the parts car.

When I hit the tree a month ago, I bent the pedals on impact.

Hood bondoed and sanded, fender replaced. The new door is behind the car, being sanded.
