Howdy- I have a 95 m3 that I want to make a bit snappier from 0-to 100 or so. I was thinking of changing diff to a 3.73l/s. Mine is stock @ present. Has anyone done this? How much, what considerations are there? I know it will spin a bit more, mileage will be lower? ( 5-speed) I've got about 115,000,but it runs strong. Thanx!

A friend just put in a 3.46 from diffs online in his M3. That was a noticeable difference but let the car remain streetable and drivable on the highway. I think 3.73 is pretty dang high, but that's just me. What rpm would you be at at 65 mph?
