I have a vibration in steering wheel while standing still (not moving) at 900-1100 rpm.
This also happens while moving whenever the engine revs down (during a shift). I have a 5 speed stick. BMW replaced the Cat converter but it didn't help. BMW says it is a non problem and they have over 40 reports in their database about this problem. They say it is caused by engin harmonics. It is very annoying and not like an Ultimate driving machine. Help!!

Sounds more like steering pump or rack to me, but at least you got a free cat!
