Why have all newer BMWs got such a crappy OBC? The E30 & E36 had a proper OBC with 2 MPG counters, distance calculator, speed limit, heater timer, av speed etc etc... The new ones have a bog standard stalk operated computer that gives temp, mpg, and av speed. Why???? I thought us BMW owners loved our gadgets!!!

Not So! The 5 series, and the old 7 all have these features, and if you option the nav system on the E46 you get the full boat. Unfourtnatly the nav system SUCKS!!, and you can only get it with a crappy tape player.
