In a message dated 98-02-13 21:44:57 EST, you write:

<< which I would like to keep because I love the weatherband button). Does anybody know if Clarion (or other cd changers) are compatible? << which I would like to keep because I love the weatherband

It's the easiest install you could imagine. A cable plugs into the back of the head unit and into the side of the Clarion. The cable supplies all information and even power, so no fuse tapping is necessary.

I did the same thing since I love my weather band too (I drive a 90). Granted, 90s are a touch easier to install since they're, well, 90s; simplicity and all that, but I'm sure you'll do fine. Get help removing the head unit since you'll need the special "keys."

The unit cost me $250 - a far cry from dealer price!

Stick it to THE MAN!
